Alisa Guthrie is a licensed clinical social worker with experience advocating for vulnerable people in various environments, including healthcare settings, intimate partner violence clinics, work release, and the criminal justice system. Currently, she is a social worker who provides holistic defense in Florida’s Office of the Public Defender, 8th Judicial Circuit. In Songs of Color, Ms. Guthrie provides strategic leadership and direction on ways to improve the well-being of justice-involved people.
